The Marigold Collective is a group of farmers, families, educators, small business owners and community leaders working together to connect the Winterville & East Athens communities with fresh food, information on nutrition, support for local food producers and an opportunity to share the abundance of our fields and farms with our neighbors.

We know that the prosperity of urban and rural communities are linked and envision a food system vital to our local and regional economy - one which provides nourishment in a manner that is socially, economically and ecologically sustainable!

“Meet Me At Marigold Farmers Market!”

Our flagship project, the Marigold Farmers Market, is held on Saturdays 9-1 and Mondays 10-3, rain or shine, in beautiful tree-filled Pittard Park in the heart of Winterville, Georgia.

On Saturdays from 9-1, live music and the smell of roasted pecans fills the air, and our farmer co-op tent offers a wide selection of organically grown produce, eggs, honey, prepared foods and other agricultural products from our family of farms.  Our community of vendors offer artisan bread and baked goods, prepared foods, freshly roasted coffee and espresso drinks, ceramics, handwoven baskets, jewelry, goat’s milk soap, handcarved wooden spoons and more! Our friends the Winterville Librarians, Athens Area Master Gardeners, Winterville Arts Council, and other community groups often join us with family activities, informational displays, and pet adoption events.

On Mondays from 10-3, we offer the same wide selection of produce eggs, convenient prepared foods, alongside honey, coffee, jams, jellies, and handcrafted gifts and notecards.

SNAP/EBT always accepted and doubled thanks to our partnership with Wholesome Wave Georgia!
